Feeling Wheel Store

The feeling wheel used in the products below is designed by therapists to be comprehensive and coherent.

The adage "name it to name it" and "what you own leaves you alone" still ring true because when you put words to inner experience you are more regulated and empowered to take conscious action. The feeling wheel will help find the right word for what is happening inside of you.

You will find that this wheel has a larger list of core emotions (this wheel has 11 while most have five or six). We also it with the secondary and tertiary feelings connecting more accurately with the core emotions.

Why is the center empty?

It was a hard choice deciding the leave the very center of the wheel blank. We consired putting "alive" or "peaceful" but ultimately decided not to. Instead the empty circle is metaphorically the eye of the hurricane, a place of stillness devoid of emotion or thought, but very much alive.

Also, but purchasing an item here, you are supporting a small business. The shipping costs vary per item as each one is manufactured in a different location and has different shipping requirements. Thank you so much for supporting this project.

We are a team 30 therapists located in Santa Barbara, California. The project is spearheaded by the founder of the organization, Rudy Ruderman.

Why a Feeling Wheel?

This is a helpful tool for identifying emotions "feelings". At our center we found that knowing what one is feeling reduces suffering and empowers an individual to take helpful action. We also noticed people naturally gravitating towards the feeling wheel we keep in our hallway. Couples would face it and name what they felt to each other while waiting for a session to start. Adults and teenagers would do the same. Seeing the natural excitement for the wheel inspired the creation of this site, a way to provide a beautiful way for people to identify their feelings at home or at the office. You can even wear it!
